Dear Ms. Birkheimer, I wanted to take a moment to express how much of an impact you’ve had on me and so many other students throughout your teaching career. From the first day I had you in 10th grade to our last trimester together in 11th, your kindness, patience, and dedication to your students made such a difference. You have this amazing ability to make everyone feel seen and heard, no matter their background or struggles. Your classroom was always a place where we felt comfortable expressing ourselves, whether it was through writing, discussions, or simply asking for advice. You encouraged us to think critically and pushed us to be the best versions of ourselves, both academically and personally.
